St Hilda's is a knowledgeable community with a comprehensive tutorial program that’s tailor-made for residents to achieve academic success.
A personalised timetable of evening ‘tutes’ will boost your engagement with the material covered in your university classes. In these small, collaborative groups - led by subject-expert tutors - you get to supplement your course learning experience.
We have 14 young academics who live on site, and employ a further 80 non residential academics to teach you. All of our tutors are outstanding graduates whose teaching will facilitate your intellectual development and academic progress, help you with your subject selection and ensure you grasp the material at uni.
If you have any tutoring inquiries, please email Academic and Student Support Advisor, Dr Bronwyn Lowe at firstname.lastname@example.org
Practical resources include purpose-built tutorial rooms, an IT lab and Library. We buy the textbooks that you need and keep them in the Library.
One of your biggest assets at St Hilda’s is the people. Our academic community wants you to thrive. We’ll monitor your progress and check in regularly to see how things are going.
St Hilda’s students also gain access to networks to learn from and be inspired by. We regularly host faculty and discipline-specific dinners featuring guest speakers who are experts in their fields. Aspire, employable you.
St Hilda's College is a living community and residential college on campus at the University of Melbourne.
